At the very least my still remaining google home (bought in 2017 or something) became somewhat useful now and is able to understand context.
E.g.:
F: When’s the next solar eclipse starting in Germany
A: In Germany, Cologne the eclipse will be visible at XY
F: No, when will it be in hometown
A: The eclipse in hometown XYZ
Before it was completely incapable of achieving it and was basically a glorified voice activated timer.
