Plenty of bad people do, and they rarely make the news. Zuck is unique in having billions of dollars. The problem is his wealth.

This makes sense. Kurzgesagt makes low quality content that’s poorly researched and has AI overdub. It’s a channel funded partly by a Bill Gates subsidiary, and has to do propaganda for them to meet its budget requirements. To say, “we established ourselves early” as an excuse is dumb. If we’re banning AI slop, then they should be banned.

We should work to either innovate or partner with Chinese manufacturers when it comes to EV technology.

He owns shares. He’s hurting right now.

They have their own AI, but it’s an eyesore that undermines searching in a mobile browser. They added it after an update further deteriorated the Reddit App experience.

So they:

1. further enshittified the app,
2. put AI in the search bar.

And that’s within the last year or so.

Another reason to switch to Android/GrapheneOS.

Unfortunate that the plan is to go public. Ideally the people who run it would be valued as stewards and curators instead of interchangeable cogs.

I hope to see one of these DIY platforms eventually become a cooperative.
