I’ve been awake for too many hours and probably nothing I post right now should be considered a reasonable take

We had a vent for a bit in our house. Called pg&e and then our block (just 20 houses) got coded the same as the hospital in outages. I can’t remember what kind of supporting documents we had to send in. We lost power last in rolling blackouts. They let us keep that for a good… year after dad died? So someone else on the street must have been on a vent too.

Okay, now consider my nonexistent idiot sister (my sisters are all cool as fuck) stole my copy, how family does. And I ran the first search in a decade for this book, and the rare bookshop that got pulped last week has (had) the only other extant copy. And then my nonexistent idiot sister died in a fire with my book. See why I might be mad at this straw man?

I was on a few narrow interest subs. I mean really narrow interest. There were folk they’d turn to for reliable historical analysis, folk they’d turn to for reliable cultural analysis, I was one of their data crunchers (I could basically find the line entries that looked wrong and the folk who had time to do more in depth forensic bullshit could dig into them) I mean on one of those narrow interest subs some people thought they were taking down a cult, I just helped shine a light on things. And learned about cults of course, can’t start a good cult without knowing how the toxic ones work
