And you’re sitting here suggesting that I’m wrong about cutting your fucking arm off to get rid of cancer.
Of course I’m not advocating that someone back alley ripper docs the fucking cancer out you trog
Replying to @Hobo@lemmy.world
It quite literally is just hacking away you moron - my uncle has had hundreds of cancerous moles removed, they literally cut away more flesh than just the mole to ensure the cancer doesn’t spread.
Fucks sake

technically
If I cut the arm that has the cancerous mole on it off - the skin cancer is gone. Granted, I was thinking more carving it out - you know, the way doctors do.

People will constantly cry about the fact that I’m not putting on sunscreen while they’re going out in the sun without sunglasses.
People are dumb. I could technically remove a cancerous mole myself, I can’t remove eye cancer myself. Or somehow unfuck my eyes once they’re damaged.

That’s fair, I was thinking of it through the lense of wildfires. I’m not exactly a fan of the pollution but that’s besides the point.

No, prison is just a place where criminals can gain access to larger criminal networks and do even more crime.

The world is burning and these people make it go faster. Sweeping for them is sick and making public examples of the ones who are caught would absolutely scare arsonists into inaction.
But to you we should reward them by feeding and housing them for the rest of their lives.

I think we can all agree that arsonists should be tortured on live television

Gonna go burn more tokens just for your sake now, seethe you cowards.
Imagine calling anyone a coward after ignoring the people calling you out below. Holy fuck, AI really has rotted your brain.
Just so you’re aware, human being need food to stay alive. Human being do not need AI to think for them.
Period. If you think a person stuck in a food desert eating fried chicken from a gas station is a murderer and a meat addict you uh… might want to consider consulting a psychiatrist.

Shining a light on why rich people are the result of inadequacies in the system.

Imagine a world where teachers weren’t geriatric and taught their kids digital literacy instead of digital luddism.
I mean, shit, homework was invented as a fucking punishment and so many studies have shown it has diminishing returns after a certain age. Yet here we are, perpetuating a system designed explicitly for controlling kids - not teaching them.
But yeah, phones are the problem. The internet is the problem. Definitely not how kids are taught to interact with them, no sir. While we’re at it, just get rid of PCs at the school - that way the district can save money on their IT department. They can access social media from the PCs so I don’t see the problem.

And how does one become disconnected from ‘the economy’?

The next stage of this is having cops patrol flock cameras.
The whole ‘mass surveillance’ thing sort of does away with a need for traditional patrols.

Publishers aren’t going out to old bookstores to buy up their old books to destroy.
Every argument you’ve made is halfbaked at best, tell me - what’s the longest time something can be stored in a computers memory?
Now what’s the longest time a book can stay intact?
Yeah, you know the answer - shut the fuck up now.
Replying to @Atomic@sh.itjust.works
It has everything to do with not reading you muppet, any literate person understands that you don’t need to destroy a book in order to gain the information from it. A child could understand that there’s no reason to destroy the books other than laziness or malice.
My god, tech people need to be beaten regularly.
Replying to @Atomic@sh.itjust.works
Yeah, they sit on shelves because the average person - at least in the U.S. - is steps away from brain death.
If more people were better educated and or literate this would not be happening.
