you know the saying: move fast, break things. they are using AI disruptively, investors love that

Kurzgesagt already does, heavily.
where are they available besides youtube? on their website they only link to youtube, written social media, and instagram

and wonder why people keep using that pile of trash when there are numerous better alternatives.
It’s simple. because they are good consumers.
the advertising industry taught them well.

Disillusion about what? does not seem like that user has written anything out of illusions.
I don’t give a fuck about your opinions on my takes lol.
but maybe you should when precisely nobody values what you say

nobody said it was a good place. nobody painted a rosie view of it. we can admit when things get worse.
I wonder why do you have the worst takes whenever I see your name. why are you attacking those that are taken advantage of? whats in it for you for attacking this user?

they are already required to publish the kernel source code for the device, so porting an alternative system should be possible, and this directive might make it illegal to lock down the software from being replaced. but there is still a loophole around drivers, as those are implemented through a “hardware abstraction layer” on android.

not so sure about that. fediverse servers could end up fined for not applying these labels

Windows being a centrally controlled OS should be better at this than Linux and yet they aren’t!
that’s what I was thinking too, but to be fair historically linux wasn’t a GUI centered world, so there were not much core system GUIs that could become obsolete

Its chill and relaxed and has humor and no algorithms.
that’s what makes it better. more communities would be easier to solve than on a brand new platform that doesn’t have any already.
