You severely overestimate Russia’s technological capabilities. For the last 30 years all of the money has been moving to politician’s pockets. They are not losing in Ukraine because of a fluke, they are losing because they are a hollowed out shell of what they used to be.
That is model wearing them for Ray-Ban. He knows what he signed up for.

Can we not legitimize these projects that will never fucking happen by reporting on them. I know the tech news places need clicks but this is not based in reality. My space tech proposal is that we all fart into jars and send the full jars to space-x for tax credits, where pure methane gas will produced. The rockets will have a pressurized 60KM long line attached to provide natural gas as a booster fuel, then detached to be caught an aircraft carrier. This will save big $$$.

I think you are missing the fact that our pensions are going to be shit or not exist entirely. A retirement fund has to be much larger to cover what Boomers and earlier did because they had good pensions.
