If you work in the industry then you know each studio works differently in particular to location.
Today maybe it is unheard of: but not even 15 yrs ago movies were getting delivered via harddrive in cookie tins to circumvent a very slow internet speed in australia. especially when they were cutting too close to delivery time. The persons handling it usually travelling with it. that was the security.
The only thing more risky if they were slapping a bunch of encryption all just to call in a 3rd party to bicycle it in and just expect them to not hurl it into an alley way and just to ding the app on the phone to say it arrived.
I know of a studio that does include 3rd parties in handling their equipment. So this scenario would not surprise me. nor would it surprise me if more than one studio was relying on 3rd parties right now.
they keep making their employees watch security videos.
It’s the 3rd party delivery persons that are under no such scrutiny.
