Rich people and people in charge (see: police, their kids, even local politicians) don’t have to follow rules, especially rules they wrote. They think that their motives are always justified/pure/exceptional, and so the rules don’t need to apply to them.

META’s job is to get people to click and comment. It’s all marketing that I walked away from years ago.
