Zuckerberg wasn’t even on the boat, so I doubt he had anything to do with the decision.
Also, he seems more like the type to jump at the opportunity to help, then make a huge song and dance about it.

It certainly calls into question his judgement, what kind of person hires a skipper who apparently either does not keep the required watch on channel 16, or ignores calls for aid?
If that superyacht’s radio doesn’t have a dual watch function then I’m the king of the Britons.
