Is there a way to embed a gif into a comment on Lemmy?

I know how to add a picture but I was hoping there was a way to add a gif.

Yeah, exactly the same way to add a picture.

It just seems to be slightly buggy, need to try multiple times with pictures/gifs that have been on the device for longer time. No issues with pictures that i just downloaded.

I can’t ever seem to get it to work 🤷‍♂️

I might just be dumb.
