I have a 30 GB partition with it on my 128 GB SSD with /home linked to my 1 TB HDD for testing purposes. I'm watching for any possible issues with software on LMDE specifically on my PC so I'd know how to fix them later when I make my move to Linux. I found a software chain for my music production - Qtractor, LMMS and Audacity, so I'm learning it for the past few months, slowly but surely. LMMS and Audacity are familiar to me, the main issue is Qtractor; it has features like VST3 support, external plugins for mastering without any additional hustle (LMMS is worse in this aspect) and sample slicing right in the playlist, yet it has a confusing UI. Still, this isn't as bad as Ardour lol
Speaking of other software, I use Steam, Kdenlive, GIMP, Paint.net, Krita, Blender, Natron (pure VFX node-based masochism), Odamex, UZDoom, Xash3D, Luanti, SuperTuxKart and SuperTux. Everything is already present on Linux and works well enough, so I've

@amanita_muscaria Cachy's great. I use it on my MacBook Pro and I'm starting to like it even more than pure Arch.

Those agressive optimizations really do make a difference.

why Arch specifically? I tried that as a daily once. It's frustrating, especially when I just want to do something. Much happier with my frankendebian
