Latest windows update stole some of my system sounds, as well as toggle keys. It also made headphone audio behave very loud and compressed, added slight reverb and only goes back to normal after unplugging and reconnecting headphones.
The update did not touch audio, no Realtek driver was updated, but it's windows, so...
@FreakyFwoof Good bug reports. Let me test your claims against the relevant codebase assets and come up with a decisive fix. Lol I know, I suck at talking like an AI.
@seedy60 i already tried running that through codex and it had no idea either. It didn't try to fake a pleasing answer, which I was glad to see. It's a weird one.
@FreakyFwoof Are you using RealTek? Thankfully the update went smoothly on this Lenovo LOQ, but then again I'm using a Razer headset with 2.4GHz wireless.
@seedy60 The audio is Realtek yes, but the wlan card is Intel.
