Hey chat, chat, chet, I just hacked into Russian state servers and launched a nuclear warhead.
Am I cooked chet?
(When they say chat so many times they start saying chet)

Oh absolutely I agree!
I just think the percentage of power these “dumb” people represent is much larger now and it’s hitting a tipping point in a lot of industries, governments, etc.

Yea here’s the problem. The dumbest people you know are in charge right now. No I don’t mean they’re literally the stupidest by definition.
What I mean is that we created a system of nepotism and wealth so that many positions in both government and business are occupied by people WHO NEVER REALLY HAD TO LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD.
This is a major problem. You cannot adequately govern or make decisions that affect everyone’s lives when you have no earthly idea what effect you’re having.

100%
I watched a video about a guy building his own Stonehenge the other day. Using gravity and some cool techniques, the guy moves massive stones BY HIMSELF.
Meanwhile you have people so breathlessly stupid they think that the pyramids were built by aliens because “stone heavy, these people didn’t have construction equipment!!!”.
Modern tech does not mean solutions didn’t exist before. We have forgotten so much in the name of selling products that a simple solution like yours goes overlooked in favor of fucking AI and a third party company that surely definitely cares about 911.

Nah you’re also right, and I’ve been in your position as well and it’s frustrating.
It truly is.

Except you forget that the news that YOU view, is not the same news everyone views.
There’s not one central news source nor is there only one newsworthy goings on.
To assume everyone sees the same news and interprets it the same way you do is wild.

Idk if you’re being obtuse, but come on lol.
The assumption of privacy is not the fault of most people.
Stop blaming the average person for the privacy damage done by corporate interests and the government.

That starfield was the only project Bethesda had going at all is absolute corporate malpractice

The fact that Peter Thiel’s name is an anagram for the reptile is still funny to me.

Welp, one way to screw up is to buy shitloads of studios, then do absolutely nothing with them.
It is utter insanity that they have owned Bethesda this long, released two seasons of Fallout on TV, and have given fans NOTHING on the game front.
Fallout 76 does not count for 95% of the fan base.
Microsoft and Xbox have been more stupid that just about any company I can think of.

Why do so many of these CEOs barely look human?
