Google Assistant will vanish from Android phones and connected devices in September

At the very least my still remaining google home (bought in 2017 or something) became somewhat useful now and is able to understand context.
E.g.:
F: When’s the next solar eclipse starting in Germany A: In Germany, Cologne the eclipse will be visible at XY
F: No, when will it be in hometown
A: The eclipse in hometown XYZ

Before it was completely incapable of achieving it and was basically a glorified voice activated timer.
