I work at a university and manage large teams of students. Without exception, each time I have hired a business student, they have had a fantastic interview and then contributed nothing to the team. In most cases, they stayed long enough to create a resume entry and then went on to the next “bigger” thing. I don’t discriminate against hiring from them, but I do not advertise job openings in their circles anymore.

It’s also notable that MBAs tend to be people who are into the networking versus the work and they will follow the trends wherever they leave because that’s what good monkeys do.

It was innovative because it helped you meet up with your real-life college friends. MySpace and Friendster had you adding people manually.

I’m suggesting that he didn’t run back to his dorm room and recreate what he saw someone else do all quick like and rather stole their completed or nearly completed code.

At the time the idea was super innovative and it was fun to see your classmate’s photos.

It’s all saturated and nobody really needs anything new anymore. There’s nowhere to go. We should expect to see some of these firms suddenly collapse like Silicon Valley Bank did.

I thought he actually stole the source code, not just the idea.

I keep asking myself why he’s still there. Even Bezos retired at this point.

Reminder that he stole Facebook

My computer uses a dark mode theme so that white colored font would have stood out to me.

Not invented, siphoned off from those who can’t game the system like they can. That means you and me.
