Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.
I’m single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.
ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the philanthropost, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru who cosplays as middle class.) With each passing day I get a little closer to hating everyone.
Also, I refuse to use Donald’s last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.
It’s a very cool story and Bill Swearingen and I live in the same town, so if anyone’s interested, I opted to make my weekly YT video on this story: https: The NoRecognition Project - Fooling Flock with Adversarial Design.
Thank you for this suggestion.
We still do.

Easy to say if you’re not a creator.
I write, edit, record, and publish everything I create, all by myself.
Devaluing smaller creators is going to mean more AI slop, because more people will be motivated to take shortcuts.
And those who don’t will probably quit. Creating authentic content and growing a channel takes time, and a lot more of it now.

Udm14.com still works if you absolutely have to use Google search. Otherwise try Mojeek.

Everyone I know who’s tried it tells me that big corporate brands and their slop / astroturfed content is why Bluesky is less enjoyable. Haven’t myself, as I’m perfectly content on Mastodon and Lemmy, so I understand that’s anecdotal.

Not really a tech story.
But what a cunt. I fucking hate billionaires.

Doesn’t matter what they call them.
People are just going to keep going.

Fuck yeah.
And it’s only going to get worse as more people learn about it. I made a video a few weeks ago about a man in Virgina who (allegedly) cut down 13 of them.

That sucks.
I’ve been deliberately leaving mistakes in my videos here and there to protect against any of this automod junk.

If we lived in a more just world, Zuck, Musk, Altman and all the rest would be sitting before Congress getting a short break from their interminable stays in prison cells, explaining to the American people the ins and outs of the deliberately harmful products they created.
It’s nice to see that some of the states and a handful of countries, at least, are doing what the US Government never will and trying to hold these people accountable to some degree.
If you told me 30 years ago that I’d live to see the day when a CP generator or that a major company would hang its hat on distributing CP for a child rape ring are not only a reality, but one that anyone can access just for paying a subscription, I’m not sure I’d have believed it. But here we are.
Just another thought for my “This is why a good god doesn’t exist” file.

It reminds me of a really great line from the movie Coming To America: “Imagine a country so free one can throw glass in its streets.”
Donald has personal financial interests in prediction markets and his properties probably have private firefighting. What the fuck does he care?
And for the next two years he’s going to have nothing to lose. We’ll see if there’s any America left once he’s done.

There’s a reason why Donald and his friends in Washington have all of their discussions on Signal.
Also, if you’re not already, just assume every app and device are spying on you.

Minnesota, Arizona, and now New York.
It pleases me to no end watching state governments push back against these predatory gambling websites.
